Hello, and welcome to Bee's Knees Activities!

This site is the side project of artist, illustrator, and maker extraordinaire, Cate Anevski. (That's me!) I decided to create this site to share my techniques and discoveries in the world of art and beyond.

Currently, this is very much a work in progress. In the future, be on the lookout for all sorts of things to pop up here, from craft store reviews to long-winded essays about my philosophies on art.

7.20.10: Two new embroidery patterns: Sunburst Lion and A Rose by Any Other Name!

5.25.10: Well, it's still May (just barely), so I've uploaded May's free embroidery pattern, Talking Flower.

5.24.10: Lots of new patterns available. Crocodiles and dandelions and rainbows, oh my!

4.24.10: It's about time for an update! April showers bring new embroidery patterns. Check out Roy G. Biv and his amazing rainbow do.

12.1.09: Happy holidays to one and all! My latest free embroidery pattern is the Yule Tree Sprite.

11.8.09: In honor of my favorite food-centered November holiday, I present the Eat Me embroidery pattern.

10.1.09: Another fun free embroidery pattern, oh so Mischeivous...

9.20.09: I have updated my pattern page with mushrooms and ghosts and added a much-loved crocheted capsule pattern to my tutorial section.

8.31.09: My very first ever free embroidery pattern. Rocket boy!

3.27.09: A new kitty cat pattern has joined the bunch.

3.22.09: I have added two new sections: recipes and paper goods.

12.24.08: I added a cross-stitch pattern of one of my favorite animals: the bee!

11.24.08: After much deliberation, I finally decided on a bit of design for the site. I felt like she was naked for so long, but now that she's wearing striped stockings and Mary Janes, all is well with the world.

11.20.08: I have uploaded some fun patterns for you to use as desktop wallpapers, Web site backgrounds, and more. As I work on creating new pattern designs, I will upload versions here for your personal use.
